FlagshipFriends.org is an online effort to enable supporters of Louisiana State University to tell our state’s leaders how much we value LSU and its contribution to the state.
Our agenda is simple: Save LSU’s flagship initiatives!
In this economic environment, the agenda can only be achieved by protecting LSU’s budget. There is only ONE flagship university in the state. A strong research university keeps the best Louisiana students home, recruits the world’s best intellectual capital, attracts millions of dollars in research, provides leading artistic programs, offers thousands of hours of community service and outreach, and produces the next generation of leaders.
Tens of millions of dollars of state funds are at stake and funding is the only way to keep this one-of-a-kind university successful.
FlagshipFriends.org will give you the tools to be a vocal supporter of LSU and Louisiana public higher education. Let your voice be heard online and by your elected officials.
